Prime Motor Group is driving the Children's Activities at the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum's 2009 Celebrate MAINE Festival to be held August 8th and 9th in Eliot, Maine. Proceeds raised from these activities will support of the Child Abuse and Prevention Council of York County.
Jay Piscopo, author and illustrator of the all ages graphic novel series The Undersea Adventures of Capt’n Eli will be at the Festival on Sunday, August 9th. Kids of all ages will enjoy Jay’s free, personalized, superhero sketches, temporary tattoos and collectible card games. Jay will be joined by the Capt'n Eli's Soda crew who will be handing out free samples of this premium Maine-made soda.
Be sure to come ready to take home The Undersea Adventures of Capt’n Eli and the new limited edition Commander X Western Knight action figure! Fifty percent of all sales that day go to the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum and Child Abuse Prevention Council of York County.
Children’s Activities will also include a climbing wall, bouncy house, and free horse-drawn wagon rides. Pony rides will be available on Saturday (rain date: Sunday) for $5.00. J.P.’s Shellfish will offer “tours” of its tractor-trailer cab to kids throughout the weekend.

The Celebrate MAINE Festival is an authentic family event that honors the people, places and products that make Maine so attractive to visitors from around the world. It is held August 8-9 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum, 2077 State Road, Eliot, Maine. Admission is $5.00 per person, children 12 and under are free. Plenty of free on-site parking.
